Scab Resistant

Apples and pears whose records document resistance to scab. Apple scab (Venturia inaequalis) and pear scab (Venturia pirina) are separate diseases, so each product page says which one applies and how strong the rating is, from apples carrying the Vf scab-resistance gene down to moderate resistance.

Scab resistance is not resistance to everything. Read the other disease notes on each page before planning a low-spray orchard.
